5 Day Tanzania Signature Safari

After an early morning departure from Arusha, you travel to Tarangire National Park. The park is well known for its large elephant populations, seasonal wildlife activity, and ancient baobab trees.

You enjoy a game drive through the park with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch is enjoyed during the game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

After an early breakfast, you travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.

The crater floor supports a remarkable density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. After your exploration, you ascend from the crater and return to your accommodation.

Today’s journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward the Serengeti. As the landscape opens into wide plains, game viewing begins upon entering the park.

The southern and central regions of the Serengeti feature open grasslands and rocky kopjes that attract predators and large herbivore herds.

A full day is dedicated to wildlife exploration in the Serengeti. With your private guide, you will search for wildlife across different areas of the park, adjusting routes according to animal movement and seasonal conditions.

Depending on the time of year, you may encounter the Great Migration. The Serengeti is also home to resident wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and many other species. Optional hot air balloon safaris can be arranged in advance.
